Vindold – Short Film Vindold, Coleman’s thesis film, is a sci-fi short shot amid the dramatic landscapes of Iceland. The story follows Mission Specialist Laelynn Stewart as she confronts eerie, otherworldly sounds on a rogue planet drifting into our solar system, uncovering hidden cosmic secrets in the midst of a savage storm — searching for beauty in the unknown celestial abyss. The film was recognized as a CineSpace 2019 Finalist, presented by NASA and the Houston Cinema Arts Society, and screened at the Houston Cinema Arts Festival. As part of this honor, Vindold also premiered aboard the International Space Station, a rare distinction that underscored its connection to space exploration and storytelling.
